How It Works
ReadyBench.live keeps every swimmer, parent, and coach on the same page during a swim meet — no app download, no login required for viewers. Here's how to get set up in under 5 minutes.
Sign in & get started
Sign in with your Google account on the dashboard. Your first meet is free — no credit card needed. When you're ready to run unlimited meets all season, subscribe for $149/year.
Create your meet
From the dashboard, enter the meet name, location, and date. Hit Create Meet — it's live instantly. You can create as many meets as your season requires.
💡 Add your swim team name in the top-right corner of the dashboard. It will appear on every meet page you share, so it looks official to anyone who opens the link.
Share the link with your team
Each meet has a unique link. Copy it from the dashboard and drop it in your team group chat, email blast, or wherever you communicate. Anyone with the link can open it in their browser — no app, no account needed.
Print the QR code for meet day
Click QR Code next to any meet to open a printable sheet. Print it and post it in high-traffic spots at the venue:
📋 Sign-in desk — hand it out or post it at check-in so families scan it right when they arrive
🏊 Near the ready bench — swimmers and coaches can check the current event at a glance
📌 Around the pool area — print on poster boards and place near spectator seating, hallways, and warm-up areas
💡 Printing on standard letter paper works fine for a desk handout. For high-visibility spots, a poster board or foam board print from any office supply store works great.
Update the event number live
Anyone with the meet link can tap Update and enter the current event number. It pushes instantly to every phone watching — no refresh needed. Assign a volunteer, coach, or parent near the timing table to keep it current throughout the meet.
💡 It works best when one person is designated to update it. Even if updates fall a heat or two behind, it's still far more useful than nothing — parents stop crowding the ready bench "just in case."
