This Privacy Policy describes how Matthew Salvoni ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles information when you use ReadyBench.live (the "Service"). We believe in keeping things simple — we collect only what we need to operate the Service.

1. Information We Collect

From meet creators (signed-in users)

Email address — collected via Google Sign-In when you create an account
Team name — optional, and is used for your own team's personal branding
Meet information — meet name, location, date, and current event number as you enter them

We do not collect your name. We do not collect payment card details — those are handled directly and securely by Stripe.

From spectators and event updaters

Spectators and updaters who access a meet via a shared link do not create an account and do not provide any personal information. We do not identify or track them individually.

Automatically collected information

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, general location, device type) to understand how the Service is used. This data is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate and provide the Service (displaying meets, managing access)
To process and record subscription payments, including for tax and accounting purposes
To contact you about your account or subscription if necessary
To respond to support or refund requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ReadyBench.live:

Google Firebase / Firestore — stores meet data and user account information. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Sign-In — used for account authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Stripe — processes subscription payments. We never see or store your full card details. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics — provides anonymized usage analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your email address and meet data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for tax and accounting purposes. If you would like your data deleted, contact us and we will remove it promptly. We have no reason to keep your data after our relationship ends.

5. Data Security

Your data is stored in Google Firestore, which is protected by Google's security infrastructure. Access to meet creation is restricted by server-enforced rules. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers in unencrypted form.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We will respond promptly.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because we do not sell personal information, most CCPA sale-related rights do not apply, but you may still contact us with any privacy requests.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
